The Wilson System®
This is a new steam treatment process, using existing autoclaving and steam boiler technologies. One of the unique advantages of the technology is its capacity to size-reduce waste by up to 80% of its original volume. It also sanitises and de-labels metals, allows for the extraction of plastics, and at the same time breaks down biodegradable materials into homogeneous cellulose rich fibres, Wilson Fibre®. The system is capable of handling non-hazardous solid waste, through an automatic reception, transfer and processing operation.
Arrival of waste.
Reception of unsorted waste. There will be an inspection and manual extraction of oversized items .
2. Steam Treatment.
Autoclave will treat 20 tonnes of unsorted MSW with a dry, saturated steam.
3. Post Treatment Separation.
Screening out the Wilson Fibre® from other collected sale products by automatic and/or manual methods.
4. Fibre output.
The fibre is screened and when required can be dried and refined. Wilson Fibre® (renewable fuel) is then sold/used for renewable power generation.
Modular in design enabling easy scale up from 150,000 metric tonnes per annum (tpa) through to 600,000 tpa throughput.
Divert up to 90% of waste from landfill, specifically targeting the diversion of organic waste, the leading producer of methane emissions.
CO2 Emissions Elimination
Each Wilson System ® deployment
diverts up to 200,000 metric tons of CO2 per
